Our Brazilian Black Belt board oversees all information development to ensure continued accuracy of media dispensed to members. By their directive, each member receives specific courseware in a written or e-document with a video to enhance their human understanding and retention process. Instructor trainee materials provide complete knowledge of the belt level studied, and it covers all stripe levels there within. Student materials for each belt level are divided into five segments and designed for reference to support their instructors teachings per stripe level. In doing this, both our instructor trainees and their students will have access to the most comprehensive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu learning program available.

We believe instructors are the core of our organization, therefore we do everything to keep close with one another, and to support our fellow instructors and their students.
In order to guarantee a high technical level and cutting edge instruction skills, instructors have FREE access to all seminars on the level in which they are enrolled.

Why a curriculum for BJJ?

Because the WBJJA is commited to making instructors even if that is not their primary objective as a student. You will hear a lot of false promises as for example: If you want to be a champion you must train only with a champion.
A lot of athletes do not have the necessary teaching skills in order to share the proper knowledge. Our curriculum is the minimum requirement necessary to advance in rank. Each individual is different. We want this individual to learn and to be capable to teach every technique properly because if he one day becomes an instructor he will be able to shape his student's in the most efficient way.
A lot of people in the BJJ community reject the effectiveness of a curriculum because BJJ is very dynamic and complex. Those people have the "fighter" mentality and cannot comprehend that any inteligent instructor has a curriculum in his MIND. The ability to structure classes is what enables the instructor to shape the student seeking his/her best performance. Here at the WBJJA we choose to share knowledge, therefore we created an extensive curriculum that constitues a structured long term learning process.

Instructors

- Can access instructional videos & syllabus of the entire WBJJA INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM;
- Rank Assessment, Testing and Certification Included;
- Can register rank with the IBJJF under the WBJJA umbrella;
- Can order Certificates of Rank through the WBJJA and IBJJF up to Black Belt to your students;
- Can be eligible to be a WBJJA representative in your State and certify new affiliates;
- Free access to WBJJA seminars;
- Can organize BJJ tournaments with the WBJJA endorsement (Fees incur);
- Can promote a WBJJA seminar at your school & profit 50% of the revenue after travel expenses.

How much cost?  $100/month. NO CONTRACT, NO LICENSE AGREEMENT!

- The Instructor Certification Program comes along with the Club Association membership and it is also divided in 4 terms of approximate 18 months each. The length of the term depends on the growth of your school and technical progress of your students. The WBJJA will not disclose the brown belt material if you don't form a dozen of purple belts, for example. We don't want clubs advancing rank fast without proper results and standards. You can be elimitated without refunds from our program at any time if we feel you're not implementing the IBJJF standards and our Code of Ethics in your school. The program has a lower cost than being just ANOTHER member of a BJJ school where you would be paying AT LEAST $100.00 a month. In addition the WBJJA system will enable you to profit out of the BJJ program in your school with tuition and testing fees from your students. This is a profitable turnkey program that your school cannot afford to wait anymore. Training and traveling cost money, so nothing wrong in make BJJ to generate profit for your investment. The program is divided as follows:

Level 1 - White to Blue
Level 2 - Blue to Purple
Level 3 - Purple to Brown
Level 4 - Brown to Black
